Here I Am Lord: Some Inspiring Words

Verse 1 Only

I, the Lord of sea and sky,
I have heard my people cry,
All who dwell in dark and sin, My hand will save.
I, who make the stars of night,
I will make their darkness bright,
Who will bear my light to them, Whom shall I send.

Refrain
Here I am, Lord, Is it I, Lord,
I have heard you calling in the night.
I will go, Lord, If you lead me,

I will hold, your people in my heart.

And finally, here are two original songs with my words, but as I can't sing I have just written them out.
Slow Movin' Blues (Graeme Young) Slow Blues
Here are the Words

Verse 1

Slow Movin' Blues
No Time to be Wastin'
Life's Runnin' Low
Must Stop Contemplating

My Thoughts I Could Share
But Nobody Cares
Slow Movin' Blues

Verse 2

Slow Movin' Blues
I Gotta get Goin'
Life's nearly gone
Time seems like Stopping

No use in Talkin'
Cause no one is Listin'
Slow Movin' Blues

Repeat Verse 1
Put Another Log On The Fire (Graeme Young) Country Swing
A song of the same name was recorded by Tompall Glaser and Waylon Jennings around 1974. It was considered by some to be: "A Male Chauvinist Anthem" and I have included both artists versions. My song the other hand can be sung by Male or Female - just change the 'he/she' to what is required.
Probably I should have called my song "Put another another Log on the Fire", but it didn't fit the melody, and as Song Titles are not Copyright it's stayed with one 'another'.
